24 things we haven't learnt at 24
It’s that time of the year dear Substackers when we’re flitting between birthday bloom and doom ~ I turned 24 on 17th and Avani’s getting there on 21st (happy birthday <3). Strangely, any birthday after 21 comes with a little caveat, are we where we thought we’d be by x age? While larger than life bucket lists (read: VICE) can be super fun to make, they’re often daunting and almost always unfinished; but is that really a bad thing?
In a world of hyper-productivity, this birthday we paused to look at the 24 things we haven’t learnt by 24 and…are okay with it? Yes, we want to be taller, sharper and brighter but *deep breath* we have time and want to take it one day at a time (also, watch the show thx). So here we are, telling you all that we shoulda woulda coulda learn by 24 but haven’t.
Also thinking out loud but maybe next week we make a list of everything we learnt by 24 that we never thought we would? Reverse Uno.
